Republican Governor’s Association Elects Governor-Elect Bobby Jindal to RGA Executive Committee
BATON ROUGE – Today, the Republican Governor’s Association elected Governor-Elect Bobby Jindal to a four-member Executive Committee which helps guide fundraising and political strategy for the association, in an incredible showing of confidence in the newly-elected governor by governors from across the nation. The other three governors on the committee are Governor Donald L. Carcieri of Rhode Island, Governor Mike Rounds of South Dakota, and Governor Linda Lingle of Hawaii.
RGA Executive Director Nick Ayers said, “Governor-Elect Jindal’s selection to the executive committee shows how committed RGA is to helping Republican governors implement the most innovative ideas to move their states forward. Electing Bobby Jindal to this leadership position speaks volumes about the confidence his fellow governors have in the Governor-Elect to transform his state.”
