Jindal addresses Sulphur Sunrise Rotary Club

"U. S. Congressman and gubernatorial candidate Bobby Jindal was the guest speaker at yesterday's Sulphur Sunrise Rotary Club meeting.

Jindal, who is currently serving his second term as U. S. Congressman, said he has accomplished a great deal in Congress including the passage of legislation that protects second amendment rights of law abiding citizens during times of disaster; the passage of legislation to ease financial commitments for state and local school districts recovering from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita; and the passage of legislation preventing discrimination against churches and faith based groups in disaster relief efforts. He said he also secured $1.6 billion for education along the Gulf Coast after the hurricanes."
